Bald Eagle Nest “Urban Nesting”

This nest in my neighborhood was such a surprise. I have been following the adults since November, they started fortifying the nest and then the babies came. Three!!! and all three survived and have sine fledge the nest and are living a nice life in South Jersey. I spend a lot of time with Eagles in the hunting and fishing aspects of their lives, but spend everyday at a nest was really something great to witness. The photo opps were a bit less of a challenge, but it was more about watching and observation, for my own growth. And not always taking the picture just watching with my eye and soaking it all in. When they first flew it was almost like a personal win, I was so proud like they were my children walking for the first time. I have this nest well documented and video also, if anyone would like a full case study on this nest I could provide a great set.
